In 2023, 50 youth partnered with World Vision Lebanon for a program called Peace Road. This program consists of a series of workshops designed to enhance youth skills, culminating in the implementation of a project by summer’s end. Within Lebanese Spotlight, our youth initiated a project named “Career Path.” This project centers around a youth academy that serves as a pivotal resource for career guidance. It includes orientation and surveys for students aged 15 to 18, helping them navigate their potential majors and employment skills as they prepare for university. As part of the implementation of the “Career Path,” 10 youths were selected to become trainers in collaboration with Mentor Arabia. They conducted seven life skills sessions targeting an additional 600 young individuals, aiming to foster skill development. In the middle of the youth academy, the “Career Path” survey is introduced as the second step. This survey allows participants to explore their answers and engage in a community service activity to gain practical insights. Subsequently, they retake the survey to measure their progress toward selecting their majors confidently. This comprehensive approach empowers youth to make informed decisions about their future paths.
