The “Leadership for Sustainable Development” (LSD) hosted a workshop in collaboration with the “Levant Institute for Strategic Affairs” on “Political Leadership and Strategic planning in Campaign Management.” The workshop aimed to provide training for municipal election candidates and campaign managers in the areas of political campaigns, strategic planning, leadership, and capacity building.
The workshop was attended by 20 candidates and campaign managers preparing for the Municipal Elections in Lebanon, with the majority of attendees being female.
The interactive training, conducted by Mr. Michel Daccache, the head of the LSD NGO, included an awareness session on municipal electoral law, training on election campaign management, strategic planning, needs assessment, voter identification and targeting, principles of political communication, message development, political outreach, and public speaking. After each session, participants were divided into groups for practical application exercises.
