Chabibeh Sporting Club started the implementation of the “Gender Equality Through Sports” project providing opportunities for 45 young girls aged between 15 and 25 to take part in sports and life skills sessions, contributing to SDG 5 “Gender Equality”.
The Basketball team in Ras Baalbek and the Taekwondo team in Al Ain started their sessions, while the football team in Baalbek will be launched this week.
This project is implemented within the framework of the call for projects “Supporting youth in the Mediterranean” launched in 2022 by the Government of the Principality of Monaco and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the IECD. Chabibeh Sporting Club is implementing this project in collaboration with Women Platform to LEAD and OSAED France and the participation of Ras Baalbek sports club, Al Amel Baalbek Club, and Al Israa Club Al Ain.
